David E. Williams Middle School, located in the suburbs four miles west of Pittsburgh, PA, services the communities of Robinson Township, Kennedy Township, Pennsbury Village, and Ingram and Thornburg Boroughs. David E. Williams Middle School is accredited by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. The building principals are the instructional leaders for the professional staff, comprised approximately of 50+ teachers, three guidance counselors, one librarian, and one nurse. David E. Curriculum

David E. Williams Middle School offers a comprehensive curriculum that is aligned to our state standards. With a strong emphasis on academics, David E. Williams offers accelerated courses in the following areas: ELA, Mathematics, and Science. Please refer to the Course of Study located on the David E. Williams website for additional information.

 

Student Activities/ Athletics

David E. Williams offers students a variety of age appropriate activities outside of the classroom. These programs include but are not limited to: middle school yearbook committee, student council, student of the month, peer tutoring programs, tv studio crew, flag crew, concert band, jazz band, concert chorus, and the DEW Theatre Group. David E. Williams offers students a wide selection of athletic sporting opportunities during the fall, winter and spring. Fall sports include football, boys/girls soccer, girls basketball, boys/girls cross-country and cheerleading. During the winter season cheerleading, wrestling, and boys basketball are offered. David E. Williams rounds out the year with boys/girls track, girls volleyball, and boys/girls swimming. All of the programs are well recognized and very competitive in their respected conferences. Montour’s athletic tradition is one of prestige and excellence and a great source of pride for the community. David E. Williams Middle School recognizes our athletes twice a year during school wide assemblies.
